Environment plays an important role in the academic performance of the student so it the responsibility of the teachers to provide proper structure, encouragement, opportunities and good student-teacher relationship. Positive environment is very important as it gives motivation or inspiration to the students to perform well in their school and give good academic results. To improve the academic performance of the students it is important to motivate those students in the right direction and for doing this followings tips would be very helpful. These are the following tips for improving academic performance as follows:-
- Positive Feedback:- Students must be given positive feedback for their performance rather than criticizing them always for their bad performance because criticism may affects their performances negatively.
- Additional learning:- Students must also participate in extracurricular activities because sometimes classroom exercises are monotonous for them so to boost up their performance these exercises are important.
- Classroom Structure:- The structure of the classroom must be designed in such a way that it will be easy for the students to follow the activities without lowering the school standards. The abilities of every student after from the others so if any topic is easy for the one students then the same topic may be difficult for another. The teacher needs to be patient enough to handle each student as per their capability and should give especial attention to the weak students.
- Additional timing:- When a student get additional time with his teacher and discusses his difficulties with them for enhancing his performance in the classroom then this helps in building good student-teacher relationship which may last till the end of the school years.
- Provide Choices:- The students must be provided choices for choosing the assignment in which they can perform well like some students are good in writing and the other one is in speaking then they must assigned assignment of their choice for motivating to give best in their field. This will help them in their learning and will motivate them to give their best in the classroom.

Every student try his best to perform well in his academic but due to some reason they fails and the common reason which has always seen for the lack of performance of the students is motivation. Motivation is the factor which can make a duffer student to be a good performer if he is motivated in the right direction. That is why it is suggested that teachers must perform their duty very effectively because the students relay totally on them for their performance so the teacher is motivating his students in a proper manner or appreciating their students for their good performances then their students must give their teacher bets result as a gift. There are various ways to motivate students like help them to participate in the classroom, clear their draughts without hesitation, participate in extracurricular activities etc. All these will help in improving the student’s performances for good academic results.
