How to Follow Wedding Traditions?

Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. Most wedding ceremonies involve an exchange of wedding vows by the couple, presentation of a gift (offering, ring(s), symbolic item, flowers, money), and a public proclamation of marriage by an authority figure or leader. Special wedding garments are often worn, and the ceremony is sometimes followed by a wedding reception. Music, poetry, prayers or readings from religious texts or literature are also commonly incorporated into the ceremony.
Ask the intended bride’s father or family for her hand in marriage. This is a great way to make a good impression with the family and socially it is well accepted and commonly recognised as gentle.
Give the bride an engagement ring which you have brought. This is a sign to the world that she has given her consent for the marriage.
Choose wedding orchestra which can play popular and entertaining songs and engage the invitees. This tradition dates to the fifteenth century and is still around today, though it can be modified to work for the bride and groom and the ceremony.
Pick a white or nicest dress by advice of fashion designer to wear in the function. The bride also might want to consider wearing their mother or grandmother’s dress. If that is not possible you may want to incorporate their veil or something attractive from their wedding day.
Ceremony Traditions
Decide to have the father of the bride escort her down the aisle.
Have a receiving line after the service so that all can wish you well whether they are going to the reception or not.
Throw rice or birdseed. An alternative to that is having your guests blow bubbles.
Reception Traditions
Throw the bouquet to all the single gals in attendance at the reception. The groom should take the garter off the bride and throw it to the single guys in attendance.
Kiss every time glasses are clanged together. This might seem annoying at the time but remember you love each other and kissing is a way of showing that.
Choose a song to dance to as a newly married couple. Also choose a song for the bride to dance with her father and the groom to dance with his mother.
After the Wedding Traditions
Have the guests throw rice or birdseed at you as you leave the reception hall. You can also have them blow bubbles at you.
Go on a honeymoon right after the wedding. Spend your first night by yourselves.Carry the new bride over the threshold of the honeymoon suite.
