What Criteria Make a Good Comedy Movie?

Comedy movies are very much important while watching movies. It is must because it makes you laugh, removes your tension and makes you happy. It is very much important for your body and mind to get comedy in your life. What makes a good comedic film depends on the type of jokes told, the story development and the eventual conclusion.
Humor Type
A good comedy fits the borders of its humour type. Humour has varying categories. Many of the best comedy films are parodies. This kind plays off what the spectators already identifies about the subject; it usually makes absurd jokes at the subject’s expense. Some examples include the “Naked Gun” films, “Blazin’ Saddles” and “Not another Teen Movie.” Other comedy types include slapstick, dark comedy, and satire and gross out comedy.
The time of the joke cracked is very important and it makes the line or statement funny. The important thing to remember is to shape up each scene unsurprisingly and know when to fire off the punch line. For example, a classic comedy bit often used in slapstick comedies is slipping on a banana peel, a gag that had one of its first uses in the 1917 silent film, “The Flirt.” The joke is seeing the person fall, and it would have less of an impact if the person either fell too soon or did not slip right away.
A Plot Or Lack Thereof
Classically, the plot in a comedic film is overstated by its performers, circumstances and other character development tools. A great comedy can create memorable moments just through its character development and dialogue.
Happy Ending
Good comic films can series from the cheerful dramas to the ridiculous. While comedies can gain material from serious life circumstances, most end happily and resolve any conflicts that arise throughout the film. Departure on an optimistic note decides all issues and helps to satisfy the audience’s desire for a “feel good” movie.
