How teach Ten Commandments ?

The Ten Commandments, also known as the Decalogue, are a set of biblical laws relating to ethics and worship, which play a fundamental role in Judaism and Christianity. They include instructions to worship only God and to keep the sabbath, and prohibitions against idolatry, blasphemy, murder, theft, and adultery. Different groups follow slightly different traditions for interpreting and numbering them.
The Ten Commandments appear twice in the Hebrew Bible, in the books of Exodus and Deuteronomy. According to the story in Exodus, God inscribed them on two stone tablets, which he gave to Moses on Mount Sinai.
Ask people to imagine they and their friends, relatives find themselves trapped on a remote place and must devise a list of 10 rules to help them live together in peace. They may work alone or in groups to make and follow the rules.
Hold a group discussion about the results of the given test. Each individual or group can share some of their rules and guidelines ,tell importance why they selected them. Record key words from the discussion, such as “stealing,” “bullying,” “violence” and “gossip,” on a chalk board.
Read Exodus 20:1-17 together. If individual have their own Bibles, each person can read a verse aloud in turn.
Allow people in group to discuss the meaning of each commandment, if any are vague. Make a circle around any suggestions on the board that coincide with those in the Bible.
